When EL Design envisioned a showroom where creativity could live, breathe, and evolve, we imagined more than just a place to display light fixtures and furniture, we imagined a space where design itself would be in motion. That vision found its perfect starting point with interior designer Ilene Chase, whose stunning installation marked the first in what will become an ongoing series of rotating designer showcases at EL Design.
Chase’s design stopped visitors in their tracks. Seamlessly blending Asian influence with the refined minimalism of Scandinavian luxury, her custom-built space exuded calm sophistication. With clean architectural lines, rich textural layering, and an artful balance of light and shadow, the installation felt both curated and deeply personal. Pieces from Audo Copenhagen, known for their sculptural restraint and timeless craftsmanship, provided the perfect complement to Chase’s vision, each element chosen not merely for its form, but for how it interacted with light and atmosphere.

Now, EL Design invites other designers to follow in her footsteps. The Designer Installation Series will serve as a platform for creative expression, offering designers the opportunity to work hands-on with EL’s curated collection of lighting, furniture, and décor, blending their own aesthetic with the showroom’s ever-evolving canvas.
