Lighting That Honors Nature
In the heart of Barcelona, an industrial space has been transformed into something extraordinary—a luminous home for creativity, sustainability, and design. Conceived by Nuria Val, co-founder and creative director of ROWSE, alongside interior designer Isern Serra, this multi-functional studio embodies the brand’s philosophy of natural beauty while celebrating the wonders of light.
The space is part office, part showroom, and part gallery, a hybrid environment designed to inspire. White walls, ceilings, and floors create a Mediterranean canvas, while deliberate accents, a terracotta vase by Robbie Whitehead, Serra’s signature built-in emerald green velvet sofa, and a living olive tree, add color and life. Yet it is the lighting from Santa & Cole that gives this interior its warmth, rhythm, and soul.
Defining space through light
Natural light floods the studio, but the designers partnered with Clara Quintana Studio and Santa & Cole to create balance, layering artificial light in a way that highlights the distinct functions of each area. The lighting collection becomes a language, guiding visitors from one environment to another.
Passing between rooms, the Nagoya pendant lends quiet elegance, its warm glow framing movement and transition. In the living space, Tekiò adds sculptural presence, while Babel and the Singular wall lamp provide soft, ambient light for intimate gatherings. Together, these fixtures transform the lounge into a sanctuary of calm.
Light that works and inspires
Above the central marble-and-wood table by Heaps & Woods, the GT lamp with a green ribbon shade sets the stage for collaboration and creative work. Its timeless design bathes the workspace in an even, diffused glow, functional yet poetic. Among lush plants and flowers, the core ingredients of ROWSE’s natural cosmetics, the Lámina suspension celebrates the art of reflection. Its subtle design elevates product displays with light that is both precise and atmospheric.

Each Santa & Cole luminaire tells its own story, yet together they create a narrative that reflects ROWSE’s mission: harmony with nature, simplicity in design, and beauty in every detail. The result is more than a workspace, it is a place of dialogue between light, form, and material, where design becomes an extension of nature itself.
