In Madrid’s vibrant Malasaña neighborhood, Estudio DIIR has reimagined its studio as both a workshop and a cultural space, blurring the line between architecture, artistry, and community. More than a place of work, the studio opens its doors to the public, hosting exhibitions, activities, and conversations that echo its collaborative spirit.
The design reflects a deep respect for craftsmanship, a value Estudio DIIR shares with Santa & Cole. Natural materials like stone and wood set the foundation, while a neutral palette brings a sense of quiet restraint. The lighting completes the picture, creating warmth, focus, and intimacy.
Above the central table, Cirio Simple and Lámina 165 illuminate the space, encouraging dialogue and creative exchange. Sylvestrina and Cestita Alubat accentuate the rich textures of the workshop, casting subtle, human-scaled light that underscores the studio’s artisanal ethos.
