Flindt Outdoor Garden Bollard - Long

"The Flindt Bollard is the outcome of a collaboration between the Danish designer Christian Flindt and Louis Poulsen. Flindt optimised a bollard prototype developed for a park area next to the art hall ‘Brænderigården’ in Viborg, Denmark, in 2012. Two years later Christian Flindt’s version was introduced as a new Louis Poulsen stable, with improved light efficiency and distribution as well as in an even sturdier material quality. The minimalistic and sculptural Flindt Bollard produces a broad non-symmetrical downward directed light that creates pleasant round patterns of light on the ground below the lamp.

The fixture emits a wide downward directed glare-free light. The light source rests at the top inside the asymmetric carving on the side of the bollard, where the gradient serves as a reflector that softens the light and forms a pleasant organic shape on the ground below.

Material: Corten colored or natural painted aluminum finish on aluminum with textured surface. The lamp is fitted with an integrated energy-saving, non-dimming LED light source. The bollard requires a separate, 24V DC power supply. Choice of 3 different mounting types. Spike mounted bollard: For use in soil or gravel; includes weather-proof cables and connectors for above-ground runs. Plug and play. Anchor mounted bollard: for casting in new concrete pad. Base mounted bollard: Includes baseplate for anchoring to decks and floors. Anchor or Base mounted bollards: installation determined by certified electrician with below ground cabling and conduit; and allows pass-through connections.
