P376 Pendant Light KF1

Originally conceived in 1963, the P376 is composed of five concentric shades which create gradations of curves towards the middle of the lamp to emit a soft, diffused light. With its distinct profile, the P376’s strong visual presence belies its effortless functionality and cohesive expression. Available in two sizes and finishes, the lamp creates a feeling of warmth and intimacy when hung above dining tables and communal spaces.

Designer: Kastholm/Fabricius
Driven by a mutual desire to make form a pure derivative of function, Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007) and Preben Juhl Fabricius (1931-1984) applied a percipient approach to every project their hands touched. Graduates from the Danish School of Interior Design, the two designers studied under Finn Juhl and subsequently Arne Jacobsen, before founding their own studio together. Although they partnered for less than a decade, the symbiosis between Kastholm and Fabricius left behind a body of work that has been honoured in museums around the world — from the Museu de Arte in São Paulo to the Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris.
