Originally designed by Arne Jacobsen for St Catherine’s College in Oxford, the AJ Oxford Table Lamp reflects the modernist design of the building, which stands in contrast with the surrounding classical architecture of Oxford University. With its opal glass shades and slim stem, which seamlessly merges into the circular base, the AJ Oxford Table Lamp is a timeless piece, perfect for any home.

Available in two heights, 280mm and 410mm, and with or without the metal top shade the AJ Oxford Table Lamp fits beautifully into the modern home, whether you choose to place it on the windowsill, on the bedside table or on a bookshelf. The taller AJ Oxford Table Lamp is also available as a pin lamp.

This table lamp emits a pleasant downwardly directed light, which harmoniously illuminates the surface below it through the soft transparency of its triple-layered hand-blown opal glass. In the variant without the top metal shade, the milky opal-glass shade provides further glow to form an alluring halo around the fixture.
