Model 537 is a simple yet stunning lamp that combines high-quality materials and clever design. The big reflector, in either black or white, is attached off-center to a shiny or matte brass stem that curves gracefully and balances on a sleek marble base. The stem also extends through and past the reflector in a whimsical gesture, creating both a visual appeal and a handy grip.

Gino Sarfatti is one of the most significant figures in the history of Italian industrial design. Throughout his career he developed more than 700 luminaires as the creative engine behind Arteluce, the company he founded in 1939 which brought premier lighting into the 20th century combining innovative ideas with groundbreaking design.
