Buoys mark safe waters, guiding sailors day and night with their flickering lights. Inspired by this concept, Václav Mlynář, Creative Director of BOMMA, designed the Buoy Collection. These hand-blown crystal lights feature a unique light rod running through a monumental glass body.
The diffusion light rod, made from sandblasted polycarbonate, houses numerous LED chips and is enclosed by a metal plate available in silver or black that can be further combined with various tones of glass.
Crafting each Buoy light requires three artisans due to its large size: the ball measures nearly half a meter in diameter, and the cone almost a meter. This meticulous craftsmanship ensures the Buoy light remains stunning for generations, showcasing the beauty of hand-blown glass.
Standard cable length 2,5 m, additional length of the cable is possible for extra charge.
