The beam inside BOMMA’s Flare lights its magical spiral structure within the crystal rod. This collection honors traditional glassmaking techniques, enabling architects and designers to create unique lighting installations.

The Flare collection features crystal glass rods in three shapes: one straight and two bent. They can be combined to create custom installations. The minimalist design includes sophisticated mountings with the latest COB light source.

Each crystal rod is manually pulled, making every piece original with a unique swirl of light. This effect is achieved by covering the molten-glass core with small glass shards (sinter) and then dipping it back in molten crystal. The glassmakers pull the piece to the desired length, stretching the fragments inside the rod.

This process creates a magical texture within the rod, flaring every time a switch is flipped.
