Oliv Linear Pendant Light

Design: Xiu Xiu for Graypants.

Handcrafted from recycled cardboard, Graypants’ flagship Scraplights provide warm, intimate, and functional lighting for any occasion or space. Depending on the finish, each piece of a Scraplights fixture is precision-cut with a laser or knife – Natural and Blonde welcome the subtle patina of the edge burn from the laser, while the White finish requires the use of a knife to achieve the pristine, white edges. Tough and elegant, each fixture is assembled by hand using non-toxic adhesive, and all Scraplights are treated with a non-toxic fire retardant.

The Scraplights Linear iterations represent a design evolution for Scraplights into warm down-lit fixtures. While romance isn’t usually associated with linear fixtures, the design team purposely iterated to create organic, rounded silhouettes that would echo the softness of the light. In addition to a strong down-lighting capacity, the Scraplight Linear fixtures also offer an ambient glow.
