Panthella 250 Table Lamp

The fixture emits a glare-free, soft and comfortable illumination. The metal shade versions direct the light directly downwards and create a pleasant illumination due to the inner white painted shade and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped stem. The opal acrylic produces a diffused comfortable light due to the translucent shade, the downward reflection from the inner shade and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped stem.

Designed in 1971, Panthella stands out as one of Verner Panton’s design icons with its unique expression where both the stand and the shade served as a reflector, thanks to the organic shapes that are characteristic of the Danish designer. The Panthella 250 Portable Lamp is a down-scaled edition of Verner Panton’s popular Panthella 400 Table lamp, which makes for easy placement on windowsills, shelves, or tables.
