Hector Medium Bibendum Ceiling Light

The Hector Bibendum, originally created by Sir Terence Conran to commemorate Original BTC's 21st birthday and the Michelin building's centenary. Featuring a distinct white, rippled shade crafted from bone china, the Hector Bibendum is a fun joyful product, beautifully made. Metal work options include satin brass, brushed aluminum or antique brass finishes making it a statement piece in any room.

Manufacturing
Each bone china light is manufactured according to traditional methods by our highly skilled team in Stoke-on-Trent. The process, which takes multiple days, begins with a slip (clay and water mix) being poured into molds. Once set, the molds are split and the shade, base or ceiling rose is removed and left overnight to dry before being sponged and fettled to remove any imperfections.
The items are finally biscuit fired or dipped in a glaze and gloss-fired for a natural white finish.
