Patera Pendant Light

Designed by Øivind Slaatto as a modern take on the classic chandelier, the Patera family is based on the Fibonacci sequence and made up of several diamond-shaped cells. The Patera 300 is a smaller version of the other spherical Patera designs and has been recalculated so that each cell provides the perfect amount of light. The poetic beauty of the Patera 300, makes it the perfect addition, whether you choose to hang it alone above a dining table, or in a childrens room, or in clusters in a hallway or living room.

The Patera 300 provides exceptional illumination, mastering the interplay between shadow and light to create a captivating expression, whether or not the light is switched on.

This spherical pendant emits a glare-free glow of light, which is reflected by the small diamond-shaped cells that comprise the fixture. The lamp's structure ensures that the light is glare-free from above 45 degrees while also allowing the fixture to emit a downwardly directed light as well as an upward radiance, illuminating the ceiling to lend further ambiance to its surroundings. Each cell shapes the light by creating soft transitions between direct and reflected light to emphasize the pendant's remarkably radiant sphere.
