PH 5 Pendant Light - Pastels

The classic PH 5 lamp is now available in new pastel colours perfect for any modern home. The two PH 5 pastel colour combinations include: Oyster Grey/Blue/Rose and Blue/Rose/Peach, or if you’re looking for a simpler look, you could opt for one of the monochrome variants: Pale Rose, Oyster Grey or White.

The PH 5 was first created in 1958, as a follow-up from Poul Henningsen’s three-shade lamp system, and it has since become a well-known favourite in Danish homes. PH 5 directs the majority of the light downward, while also emitting a lateral glow, creating a comfortable light, which is glare-free as is characteristic of all Louis Poulsen lamps.

The fixture provides a comfortable, glare-free light based on the principle of Poul Henningsen’s reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downward. It emits a lateral light as well as illuminating itself, providing a soft radiance from within its core. The lower shade is fitted with a frosted-glass diffuser to ensure that the downwardly directed light is 100% glare-free.
