An adaptation inspired by sketches of the original lamp by Hvidt & Mølgaard, the Tripod wall lamp remains true to the essence of the Tripod design. Crafted from lacquered aluminum, the wall lamp is anchored by a spherical base that establishes a visually solid foundation, while the shade’s swivel feature allows the lamp to distribute a generous diffusion of light.

Renowned for the simplicity and craftsmanship of their designs, Peter Hvidt (1916-1986) met Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen (1907-1993) at Kunsthåndværkerskolens Snedkerskole, where he began first as his student and later taught alongside him. The two formed an instant, close friendship, moving on to experience their first success as a design duo after entering and winning the 1943 Swedish Slöjdföreningen's competition.
