Returns and Exchanges

At EL Design, we understand that sometimes the items you purchase may not be the perfect fit for your space. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with a product, you may return or exchange it within 60 days of delivery, subject to restocking fees where applicable.

Initiating Returns/Exchanges

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our Customer Service team at returns@eldesign.com or through our online form. If provided with a return label, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Eligibility for Returns/Cancellations

We regret to inform you that certain items are not eligible for return or cancellation, including:

  • Custom and built-to-order items.
  • Floor models, Open Box, and Clearance Items
  • Large orders exceeding $5,000 or multiple quantities of the same fixture totaling over $5,000.
  • Modified, installed, or used products.
  • Items not in resalable condition or missing original packaging.
  • Items not purchased directly from EL Design
  • Items without an original receipt
  • Orders shipped outside the United States

To qualify for return or exchange, products must be in original, new, uninstalled condition with all original parts and packaging intact.

Restocking Fees

Restocking fees may vary depending on the brand and product. While some manufacturers impose restocking fees on returned or exchanged products, EL Design has collaborated with our partner brands to offer favorable return/exchange terms whenever possible.

Order Cancellations

You may cancel an order within 72 hours of placement without penalty, provided the item has not yet shipped. Custom items or special orders may be subject to cancellation fees. To request an order cancellation, please contact our Customer Service team. Please note that changes to lead times or backorder dates do not constitute grounds for order cancellation.
